Student Body- The Student Council (School Prefects)

Taking on responsibility for life together in community

In any community shared values can only be successfully implemented when they find universal approval and acceptance. The best precondition for such success consists of students taking the initiative to design their own code of conduct.  The “ring”, our student council, made a highly significant contribution to the Landheim community by creating an honor code completely designed by students, for students. This code of values constitutes the voluntary, binding commitment of all students to live a life in community, dedicated to the values of justice, sincerity, responsibility and a readiness to help others.

Moreover, the student council plays a crucial, ongoing role in the everyday life of that community.

Its duties and privileges include:

  • the right to vote in regular faculty and staff conferences
  • representing students, with the added task of overseeing the implementation of majority decisions
  • an advisory role and the right to vote in sessions of the disciplinary council
  • participation in the biannual meetings of the advisory council

The elected members of the student

council for the 2011-2012 school year include:

  • Ben Krause (President)
  • Hannah Beiderwieden
  • Joschka Reik
  • Tobias Stumpp
  • Tamina Kiss (Lower School Rep)
  • Erik Weickert (Lower School Rep)
