Getting to know Germany and feeling at ease
Our international students should quickly feel at home in Germany and at the Landheim. Therefore, we offer them the help and support they need to make a smooth transition.
They can rely on us to help them organize a visa for their stay.
On campus mentors, who know the language and culture of our international students, give them assistance and individual support. Qualified German teachers provide them with courses to facilitate language acquisition and to prepare them for exams.
The cultural workshop is a further institution for our international students. We seek to impart intercultural knowledge and awareness through excursions to typical German sites, including Neuschwanstein, Alpine hiking tours, visits to the theater in Munich and Landsberg, and sampling German and international cuisine.
For health and medical support, an on-campus infirmary and a staff of trained nurses, supported by a local doctor, are available to our students.
We can also arrange host families for students wishing to remain in the region during school holidays.
