The performing arts: a forum for expressing oneself

Music is a forum for encounters: encounters with musicians, composers, the stage, the audience and other cultures. Particularly in the context of a globalizing world, music, in addition to sports and the arts, offers our students the opportunity to discover diversity and experience cultural integration. The various musical ensembles at the Landheim make a valuable and significant contribution to the cultural life of our school community.  

The many-faceted world of drama has a longstanding tradition at the Landheim. Body, breathing and voice training, working with masks, free improvisation and role-playing belong to the dramatic arts, alongside the skills of self-perception and how one perceives other performers.  

First and foremost, the theater means becoming aware of one’s own possibilities for self-expression and the effect of such expression on others.
